Working, working....

Sanding done, painting done (except for where the pads are to hold her up on the hard), most buffing done.....where are the sunsets and pina coladas? Where are the sandy beaches? The lobster?

I've been tricked again!!

  1. I hope that you and Captain Jay have left the boat yard and are traveling ever southward. If you've heard any weather reports you know that the middle section of the country is under several feet (yes feet)of snow. We have chance for .5 - 2.0 inches of rain over next 48 hours. Congrats or my sympathy on the stove, but given you are on a grand adventure it's probably a good thing.

    Happy Halloween

  2. we're not under snow, but we've had LOTS of wind and rain (usually when we're locking through some of the 12 Tenn/Tom locks, of course). Weather has improved slightly and now will be cold but not as damp and breezy. You know how sailboaters hate wind!! Happy Halloween to you too -- hope you get good things like Snickers and Butterfingers and Reese's Pieces!
